Led by Barb Smith, a former Division I student-athlete, accomplished Division I basketball coach, motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur, and nationally respected leadership expert, her life’s work has centered on building resilient people, high-performing teams, and transformational leaders.
With more than 30 years of experience coaching at the Division I level, Barb has led teams through championship seasons, NCAA Tournament appearances, adversity, heartbreak, and breakthrough moments that shaped not only athletes, but lives. Her journey has been defined by resilience, courage, and the unwavering belief that leadership is revealed most powerfully in moments of challenge. From the excitement of conference championships and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances to navigating the devastating loss of a player to spinal meningitis, Barb understands firsthand the strength, unity, and character required to lead through both victory and adversity.
As the Founder of Courtside Leadership, Barb inspires organizations, teams, coaches, and leaders to pursue peak performance through trust, connection, accountability, and purpose-driven leadership. Her work focuses on creating team cultures where individuals thrive together, communicate effectively, and rise beyond talent alone to achieve lasting success.
Barb is also the Founder and CEO of Find My Team, an organization dedicated to empowering student-athletes and families through the college recruiting journey. Built “for student-athletes, by student athletes,” Find My Team helps young athletes develop confidence, discover their voice, and find the college fit that aligns with their unique goals, values, and future. Through expert guidance and authentic mentorship, Barb and her team have helped hundreds of families navigate the recruiting process with clarity, confidence, purpose, and success.
A passionate advocate for leadership development and team dynamics, Barb is also the author of the book Beyond the Talent: Profile of a Winning Team, which explores the foundational principles behind successful teams and sustainable excellence.
Barb earned her degree in Health Education from The Ohio State University and completed her MBA in Organizational Behavior at Iona College. Today, she continues to inspire audiences nationwide with a message rooted in resilience, leadership, teamwork, and the power of finding one’s voice.
When not working, Barb enjoys family, nature, birding, cycling, traveling, attending sporting events,meeting new people, and playing with her two rescued greyhounds.

Brittany Morris-Randle
In this interactive session, participants will explore how storytelling can help us identify our strengths, reframe obstacles, and recognize the resilience already present within ourselves. Through reflection and guided discussion, attendees will discover how their personal experiences can become a foundation for growth, confidence, and future success.
Brittany Morris-Randle serves as the Director of the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic for Crosspoint Human Services and creator and Author of The Resiliency Project. Throughout her career, Brittany, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, has been dedicated to creating opportunities for young people, families, and communities to discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and build meaningful connections. Her work combines leadership, mental health advocacy, community collaboration, and a passion for empowering others to recognize their own resilience.
Through partnerships with community organizations, local leaders, and service providers, Brittany has helped develop innovative programs focused on mental wellness, personal growth, leadership development, and community engagement. She believes every person has a story worth telling, and that resilience is built when individuals are given the tools, support, and confidence to navigate life's challenges.

Together, we'll explore common money scripts, how they influence financial behaviors in adulthood, and why lasting financial change requires more than budgets and spreadsheets. Through reflection, guided prompts, and practical tools, participants will learn how to identify outdated financial narratives and begin rewriting them in ways that support both financial wellness and a more meaningful, intentional life. Jaelyn Vickery, CFT™, is a Certified Financial Therapist™ and founder of Dimensional Wealth, where her team helps people build wealth with wellness by transforming their mindset, habits, and systems with money. She blends behavioral health, consumer psychology, and financial literacy to help people understand the deeper patterns driving impulse spending, stress, and self-worth.

Sierra Myerscough
The stories we tell ourselves shape how we see our abilities, our challenges, and our future. In this interactive 50-minute session, Sierra Myerscough explores how personal narratives influence confidence, resilience, and growth - both physically and mentally. Through her own journey as a former collegiate athlete, performance coach and entrepreneur, participants will learn how to identify limiting stories, reframe setbacks, and build a stronger, more empowering narrative.
The first 30 minutes will focus on practical strategies for recognizing and rewriting the stories that hold us back. The final 20 minutes will be an experiential movement session using resistance bands, designed to reinforce the connection between physical strength and mental resilience. Participants will leave with actionable tools to help them move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose; both in life and in their own personal story.
Sierra Myerscough is a performance coach, educator and former collegiate golfer who specializes in helping individuals build strength, mobility, and confidence through intentional movement. After overcoming personal setbacks that forced her to redefine her path, Sierra developed a passion for helping others recognize the power of their own stories. Through her work in coaching and athlete development, she empowers people to move beyond limitations, embrace resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. Her message combines personal experience, practical wisdom, and a belief that our greatest growth often begins when we choose to rewrite the narrative we tell ourselves.


Laura Lasater
In this session you will learn about the stories we tell ourselves through different phases of wellness. As a practitioner in the wellness space, Laura had to learn how to balance her own health in harmony with her business. She will share techniques for body awareness, lessening stress and staying whole in life and in business.
Laura Lasater has been a practitioner in the wellness space for 27 years. She has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of people and cases in largely varying environments. Which lead to founding Health In Harmony 18 years ago where she continues to practice Massage Therapy specializing in John Barnes Myofascial Release®, Manual Lymph Drainage and Injury Care. Laura is also a Certified Sound Practitioner and practices Sound Healing at Health In Harmony through one to one and group sessions. Whether it is her Massage Therapy, Sound Healing, or retreat and class leading practices she feels especially grateful to have been working in the CU community for almost all of her career; Being able to create long lasting relationships with those she serves, helping them continue doing the things they love and live for.

Angela Reinhart is a Business Development Specialist with OSF HealthCare, where she partners with employers to connect their teams with occupational health and wellness resources that support healthier workplaces and stronger communities. She lives in Tolono with her husband, Randy, and enjoys spending time with her two sons, Logan and Noah, daughter-in-law Victoria, and grandson, Callahan. Outside of work and pursuing her master's degree in healthcare administration, Angela loves the outdoors, community involvement, and making meaningful connections both personally and professionally.
